MEDICAL-DENTAL CLINIC

The Medical-Dental Clinic provides accessible medical and dental care, first aid, health assessment, health education, and referral services to the CIT-U community.

Services Offered

The Medical-Dental Clinic provides the following health services to students:

Medical Consultation

Assessment and management of common illnesses, minor injuries, and other health concerns.

First Aid and Emergency Care

Initial care for injuries and sudden illnesses occurring on campus, with referral when necessary.

Physical Examination and Medical Clearance

For OJT, sports activities, field trips, Physical Education, and other officially sanctioned school-related activities.

Medical Certificates

Issued following appropriate medical consultation and assessment.

Dental Services

Dental consultation, oral examination, basic dental treatment, oral prophylaxis when indicated, and referrals.

Health Education and Counseling

Health information, preventive health guidance, and health awareness activities.

Referral Services

Referral to hospitals, specialists, laboratories, or other healthcare providers when necessary.

Student Concerns/Assistance

Students may approach the MDC for:
Illnesses and common health concerns
Minor injuries and accidents
Physical Examination and Medical Clearance
OJT, sports, field trip, and other school-related health requirements
Health advice and counseling
Medical or dental referrals

Medical Clearance Requirements

Requirements depend on the purpose of the clearance.
OJT:

Required laboratory and examination results must be submitted to the MDC before issuance of the medical certificate.

Sports/Official School Activities:

Appropriate endorsement or documentation from the concerned coach/faculty may be required.

Field Trips and Other Academic Activities:

Medical evaluation and/or laboratory tests may be required, depending on the activity.

For activities requiring medical clearance, prior approval by the Administration and submission of the official request/endorsement to the MDC are required.

Note:

  • Bring your valid CIT-U Student ID when visiting the Clinic.
  • No consultation, no medical certificate/clearance.
  • Medical certificates and clearances are issued based on the assessment of the University Physician/Dentist.
  • Medical records are treated as strictly confidential.
  • Medical certificates for activities not officially representing CIT-U,

Dental Clinic Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM;
Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
