The CIT University RRSU7 Partnership marks another milestone in preparing students for meaningful careers beyond the classroom. Through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Cebu Institute of Technology – University (CIT-U) and the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit 7 (RRSU7) will work together to strengthen career development, leadership formation, and public service opportunities for students and graduates.
The agreement was signed, establishing a framework for career guidance programs, recruitment information drives, and campus engagements that introduce students to opportunities within the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Bringing Career Opportunities Closer to Students
The CIT University RRSU7 Partnership aims to help students explore careers in public service before they graduate.
Through seminars, orientations, and recruitment briefings, students will gain direct access to qualified RRSU7 resource persons. They will also receive updated information about recruitment qualifications, application procedures, and career opportunities within the Philippine National Police.
This partnership allows students to make informed career decisions while developing the leadership qualities expected of future public servants.
Preparing Students Beyond Graduation
Career readiness is more than finding employment. It is about discovering where knowledge, leadership, and service meet.
Under the agreement, CIT University will encourage qualified students and alumni to participate in career guidance and recruitment activities. The University will also provide venues, logistical support, and campus coordination for approved programs.
RRSU7, in turn, will conduct recruitment-related activities, provide career resource persons, share updated recruitment information, and coordinate program implementation with the University.
Together, both institutions aim to create more opportunities for students who aspire to contribute to their communities through public service.

The CIT University RRSU7 Partnership is built on collaboration.
Both organizations agreed to jointly plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate partnership activities. They also committed to transparency, professionalism, mutual respect, and continuous program improvement. Regular reviews will help ensure that the partnership remains relevant and effective.
To protect all information exchanged through these activities, both parties will comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and maintain confidentiality throughout and beyond the duration of the agreement.
Three-Year Partnership for Future Leaders
The Memorandum of Understanding takes effect upon signing and will remain valid for three years unless renewed or terminated through mutual agreement.
The document was signed by Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor, President of CIT University; Mr. John Gregory B. Escario, Vice President for Administration; Dr. Shella Debbie C. Maningo, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice; and PCOL Benjamin B. De Peralta Jr., Chief of the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit 7.
