Villamor, receives multiple prestigious international honors at the United Federation of Fil-Am Educators, Inc. (UNIFFIED) International Educators Summit 2025, held in the iconic city of New York.

Carrying the banner of excellence, innovation, and leadership, Engr. Villamor was conferred the Plaque of Recognition for Excellence in Executive Leadership in Higher Education—a powerful testament to his bold vision, transformative strategies, and unwavering commitment to redefining the future of higher education. His work in championing innovation, forging global industry-academe partnerships, and elevating employability for students has placed CIT University at the forefront of international academic leadership.

In a proud and symbolic full-circle moment, Engr. Bernard Villamor, a proud De La Salle University alumnus, joined Br. Bernard S. Oca, FSC, President of DLSU, in receiving the Plaque for Outstanding Collaboration in Higher Education. This recognition celebrates the strong partnership between CIT University and DLSU through the SDG Cities initiative, launched in 2023—a powerful collaboration that is actively contributing to sustainable development goals through education and innovation.

This significant recognition was presented by esteemed leaders: Deputy Consul General Adrian Elmer S. Cruz, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President Randy Peers, and UNIFFIED California Internal Vice President Richard Maghanoy, a proud alumnus of CIT University—making the moment even more meaningful for the entire CIT community.

To crown these honors, Engr. Villamor was also awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Assembly of the State of New York, signed by Assemblyman Steven Raga—the first Filipino American elected to a state-level position in New York.
