
CIT University’s Engr. Lynne Ivy L. Illaga from the Department of Industrial Engineering emerged as 1st RUNNER UP for Best Paper during the 11th Industrial Engineering (IE) Research Conference held on November 15-16, 2024. The event was held in conjunction with the 19th National Congress of the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) and the 20th anniversary celebration of PIIE-Cebu.
The conference, themed “AI at the Core: Revolutionizing Business Strategy,” showcased cutting-edge research and innovations at the intersection of various disciplines and artificial intelligence. Engr. Illaga’s paper demonstrated exceptional research and innovation, earning recognition for its significant contribution to the field.
