September 2026 REE Licensure Exam topnotchers from CIT University

Cebu Institute of Technology – University once again achieved outstanding results in the September 2026 REE Licensure Exam, producing three national topnotchers led by the country’s TOP 1 placer.

Charles Anthony S. Santillan secured the TOP 1 spot. Kienth Vincent E. Oracion ranked TOP 3, while Niño Louie P. Verame placed TOP 6 in the September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination.

CIT University Produces Three National Topnotchers

Santillan’s achievement adds another distinction to his exceptional academic record. In 2025, he was recognized as CIT University’s King of Engineers.

The distinction is given to the University’s highest-ranking graduating engineering student. It recognizes academic excellence, leadership, and achievement among CIT University’s graduating engineers.

Meanwhile, Oracion and Verame also demonstrated the strong academic preparation of CIT University’s Electrical Engineering graduates. Their results further highlight the performance of the University’s engineering programs.

CIT University Continues Its TOP 1 Streak

The September 2026 REE Licensure Exam result extends CIT University’s remarkable run of TOP 1 placers.

The streak began in 2024. That year, the University produced the TOP 1 placer in both the April and August licensure examinations.

CIT University followed this with another TOP 1 finish in 2025. Santillan’s achievement continues the University’s TOP 1 record in 2026.

In total, CIT University has now produced four TOP 1 placers in Electrical Engineering across three consecutive licensure examination years.

Topnotchers Recognized at CIT University

CIT University recognized Santillan, Oracion, and Verame during a Topnotchers Press Conference held at the University.

During the event, the three honorees shared their experiences and preparation for the licensure examination. They also discussed the support systems that helped them throughout their journey.

University officials, academic leaders, faculty members, coaches, family members, and media representatives joined the press conference.

The event also highlighted the work of the College of Engineering and Architecture and the Electrical Engineering Department. Their efforts help prepare students for licensure examinations and the professional responsibilities that follow graduation.

The latest September 2026 REE Licensure Exam achievement adds to CIT University’s long tradition of licensure examination excellence.

Over its 80-year history, the University has produced a total of 786 topnotchers, including 96 first placers.
