Cebu Institute of Technology – University (CIT University) has taken a significant step toward ISO 21001 Certification following the successful completion of the ISO 21001 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) Training Series: Awareness, Documentation, and Internal Audit held from June 30 to July 3, 2026, in partnership with TÜV Rheinland Philippines.

The four-day training brought together the University’s academic and administrative leaders. Participants included Vice President for Administration Mr. John Gregory B. Escario, Vice President for Academic Affairs Atty. Corazon Evangelista Valencia, the University’s Deans, Principals, Assistant to the Principal, Directors, Office Heads, and Quality Assurance Officers. Their participation reflects CIT University’s institution-wide commitment to strengthening quality management and preparing for ISO 21001 Certification.

Building a Strong Educational Organizations Management System

The Quality Assurance Office for Administration organized the training. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the ISO 21001 standard. The sessions covered its principles, requirements, documentation, implementation strategies, and internal auditing processes. These topics are essential for establishing an effective Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS).

ISO 21001 is an internationally recognized management system standard for educational organizations. It helps institutions improve educational processes and enhance learner satisfaction.
