In commemoration of Women’s International Day, CIT University stands in with these women to celebrate their solidarity, resilience, leadership, and countless contributions to society. We take pride in honoring the vital role that women play in molding our communities, driving progress, and inspiring change in each one within our institution and beyond.
Women are the real architects of society. Women have been an instrumental part in the shaping trajectory of CIT University, partaking in the roles of instructors, faculty members, administrators, and staff—guiding the institution towards greater heights, while upholding their different roles and responsibilities outside the walls of the institution. An instructor, who is also a breadwinner, guides students in their academic journeys, imparting their knowledge, and fostering critical thinking skills. An administrator, who is also a mother, plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the institutions. A staff member, who is also a caregiver of the family, provides invaluable support services essential for the smooth functioning of the university. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence, signifies a mark to us all, demonstrating the limitless potential of women in every sphere of life.
And despite the obstacles that women face daily, this International Women’s Day is a reminder for us that the advancement towards gender equality and the ongoing fight for gender parity emphasizes the importance of collective action in challenging these injustices. At CIT University, along with our commitment to excellence, we are dedicated to championing gender equality both within our institution and in society, advocating for policies and practices that promote inclusivity, diversity, and respect for all—aligning with SDG # 5: Gender Equality.
