The Cebu Institute of Technology – University opened doors for the members of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) as a proud co-host of the PACU General Assembly and National Conference 2023 on September 30th 2023. As the current President of PACU, CIT University is also the first university from the Visayas and Mindanao in the association’s 91-year history to lead this organization.
The event, held under the overarching theme “Reimagining Our Education Futures Together,” marked a significant milestone for PACU. While the main venue buzzed with intellectual fervor at the Makati Diamond Residences in Makati City, PACU members from across the country actively participated online via Zoom. The virtual corridors echoed with discussions and insights, thanks to the dedicated satellite venues at St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) in Tuguegarao City, Cebu Institute of Technological – University in Cebu City, and Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao in Davao City.
