University of St. La Salle visited CIT University for benchmarking visit of the Chemical Engineering Department
The top university in Cebu, CIT University, recently welcomed faculty members and delegates from the University of St. La Salle for the benchmarking visit of the Chemical Engineering Department. The said visit was to explore possible partnerships between the two universities, and both universities had discussed potential collaborative projects and signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize the said partnership. CIT University is excited about the opportunities this collaboration will bring for its Chemical Engineering students and graduates, as they strive to become highly sought-after and well-rounded professionals in the industry. DOST-PCIEERD X CIT-U conducts bootcamp for startups
CIT-U warmly welcomed the participants of the BOOTSTART: Bootcamp for Startups Visayas Leg, a nationwide bootcamp for startup businesses, organized by DOST-PCIEERD, which was held last April 18-21, 2023. As a top university in Cebu, CIT University is thrilled to be an avenue for the participating startups to put their businesses’ missions and visions into realities, with the help of the University Wildcats Innovation Labs. CIT-U empowers livelihood programs of partner Cebu City barangays
Living and empowering the values of a Technologian, CIT University’s College of Management, Business and Accountancy has recently conducted a livelihood training program that was held during the week of April 17, 2023 at the Community Extension Services (CES) Training Center. The livelihood program was covered with Food Production (Carioca & Veggie Balls Making) and Liquid Dishwashing Production. The said program would not only help participants in the production process but also in managing income and monitoring distribution. CIT University is committed to promoting community development and empowering individuals through education and training.

In science, the sky is not the limit—a proven attestation from our CIT University students as they were awarded as the Champions on the CESAFI Science Quiz Bowl 2023 College Division. A loud roar to the team effort of Elaine Heart de la Torre from Bachelor of Science in Biology, Alester Cuyos from Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, and John Dale Quiñones from Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. These students proved that they are a force to be reckoned with in the science world!
