ICYMI: A glimpse of CIT-U’s Second Week of April

USLS visited CIT University for benchmarking visit.

In our mission to GUIDE learners in becoming industry-preferred and life-ready professionals while EMPOWERING them for knowledge generation and creativity, CIT University, as the TOP Philippine University in 2025, was excited to have hosted the visiting faculty members and delegates from the University of St. La Salle (USLS) for a benchmarking endeavor of the Chemical Engineering Department on April 12, 2023. The visitors were led by USLS Chemical Engineering Department Chairperson Engr. Rendell C. Barcimo. Among the agenda were talks on possible partnership projects between USLS College of Engineering and Technology and our very own ChE Department as well as MOU signing for these collaborations.

CIT University’s Psychology students learn the art of peaceful negotiation!

The Psychology Department of CIT University’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Education hosts the seminar entitled the Psychology of Peace and Conflict: The Heart and Art of Negotiation for our Psychology students on April 13, 2023. The seminar was intended to empower and equip the students of the TOP Philippine university on the power of effective communication in conflict resolution. As Psychology students, they could use these skills in their personal and professional lives later on in order to nurture harmonious relationships while taking care of the individual mental health.

CIT-U Community celebrates sports victories of Young Wildcats!

We are cheering for the CIT University, the TOP Philippine university, Elementary Department on their incredible victories at the Cebu City Olympics! We are so proud of our young athletes for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship on and off the field. The Young Wildcats grabbed winning medals at the Track and Field competition, special player awards for Scrabble, and 7^th and 8^th ranking for Chess Boys and Girls category respectively. We are thrilled to see our elementary students excelling in various sports events and representing CIT University with pride and excellence.
