Here are the exciting events we welcomed at the first week of October. Let’s take a look!
Elementary Department started the limited F2F
On October 3, 2022, our little Wildcats were finally back in school for the limited face-to-face classes. After two years of doing online classes, the pupils finally got to see the actual look of their classrooms, chatted with their classmates without headphones on, and interacted with their teachers in the flesh. It was both an exciting and nerve-wracking experience, but definitely something that the elementary department was prepared for. You can watch snippets of their first few days in campus in this featured interview posted in our official Facebook page.
Cebu City Scholars Orientation
A gathering of the Cebu City scholars studying in CIT-University was also held in the campus gymnasium on October 4, 2022. Spearheaded by the Office of Admissions and Scholarships, the scholars were given the orientation of their roles and responsibilities as local government scholars. New Cebu City college scholars were also given their warm welcome to the campus at the same time.
World Teachers’ Day
As a top-performing university in Cebu, the CIT-University honored our teachers and educators in their passion and dedication to impart knowledge and learning to our students. They are the front-liners of our institution who continue to bring out transformation one student at a time. So on October 5, 2022, in celebration of the World Teachers’ Day, our students also expressed their gratitude and special messages for our beloved teachers. Watch the students’ thoughtful Teachers’ Day messages here.
To continue promoting the healthy lifestyle, especially as we establish health-related protocols due to the pandemic, CIT-University also re-opened the fun and motivating way to exercise called Zumba Ki-ay. Started on October 7, 2022, this dance exercise is open to all interested CIT-University teachers and employees and will be held every Friday from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM. Hurray to health!
