In a move that reinforces its position as a top Philippine university and the CHED Center of Excellence in Information Technology Education in Central Visayas, Cebu Institute of Technology–University (CIT University) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Philtech Inc., a premier offshore IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Philtech Inc. is a trusted IT-focused offshore services provider that handles technology, engineering, and shared services operations exclusively for Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the United States.
