#CITTopsAgain in National Examination

In a display of dedication to the quality of education and training provided by CIT University, one of our students, Michale B. Jacomilla, a graduate of the College of Management, Business, and Accountancy, achieved the TOP 2 spot in the June 2024 Certified Tax Technician (CTT) Examination conducted by the Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc. (PACTT). This significant accomplishment was among 1627 examinees nationwide, with 963 passing the rigorous exam. 

The examination took place from June 9 to 23, 2024, in various cities in the Philippines, including Naga, Puerto Princesa, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, Calamba, Dasmarinas, Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Dipolog. Jacomilla’s success highlights the excellence in academic and professional preparation that CIT University imparts to its students, enabling them to excel in competitive national certifications.

 Meanwhile, CIT University Conducts Psychological First-Aid Training for Administrative Staff 

On July 2, 2024, CIT University’s Guidance Center, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, successfully held a psychological first aid seminar workshop for the administrative staff at the Learning Resource and Activity Center. This important event was designed to equip staff members with vital skills to effectively manage mental and behavioral emergencies. 

The seminar aimed to enhance the capabilities of CIT University’s administrative personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared to offer robust support within the university community. The university actively contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by focusing on mental health and well-being. It promotes a peaceful, inclusive environment, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). 

This initiative is part of CIT University’s commitment to excellence and sustainability. The training ensures that administrative staff can provide the highest quality support services, contributing to a healthier and more supportive campus environment. 

CIT University’s Mid-Year 2024 Culminating Activity for Academic, Athletics, and Cultural programs 

On July 6, 2024, CIT University’s Basic Education department hosted its Mid-Year Culminating Activity at the SM Seaside City Cebu Seaview Atrium. The event showcased the remarkable talents and skills of our preschool, Elementary, and Junior High School learners across various disciplines, including athletics, academics, and culture. 

The vibrant celebration highlighted the learners’ singing, dancing, public speaking, painting, and athletics abilities. These performances demonstrated the incredible progress made during the season and underscored the strength of CIT University’s integrated approach to education. The event was a proud collaboration between the Elementary and Athletics Departments, illustrating the power of teamwork and dedication. 

This event’s success was made possible by the unwavering support of proud parents and the dedication of coaches committed to nurturing young talents. The culmination of these efforts shows that there is indeed wonder in learning when it is made wonderful.
