BS Information Technology – CIT University

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) at Cebu Institute of Technology – University prepares students to design, implement, and manage modern computing systems and IT infrastructure. The program focuses on the effective use of hardware and software technologies to develop computing solutions that support organizational needs.

The BS Information Technology program includes the study of:

Students learn how to plan, install, operate, administer, and maintain information technology systems that support businesses and organizations.

Program Educational Objectives

  1. Graduates will be competent professionals with an integrated understanding of computing systems, processes, and the main body of knowledge of information technology as a whole. They will be engaged in IT-related careers such as IT specialists, web/applications developer, network/systems/database administrator in private practice, academe, industry, or government.
  2. Graduates will be capable of engaging in life-long learning activities relevant to their profession, including earning advanced degrees or completing professional training.
  3. Graduates will be capable of exhibiting professionalism in working individually or as a member/leader of a team; communicating effectively; and meeting the social and ethical responsibilities of their profession.
