A highlight of the visit was when Mr. Francia was presented with a custom-made Barong Tagalog by CIT University’s very own Edwin Ao, a respected professor in the Bachelor in Multimedia Arts program at the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education. The gesture symbolized the merging of tradition and innovation—values deeply ingrained in CIT University’s mission to nurture creative and forward-thinking graduates.
The Francia couple and Mr. Dumaual were also introduced to an exclusive exhibit showcasing high-end paintings by renowned Cebuano artist Martino “Tinong” Abellana. This cultural immersion provided a glimpse of Cebu’s rich artistic heritage while simultaneously highlighting CIT University’s role in promoting local talent and cultural preservation.
